agentads

Your wait should pay your way.

One quiet, clearly-labeled line of sponsorship while your AI agent thinks — and not a pixel more.
It never reads your prompts, your code, or your files. Ever.

curl -fsSL https://get.agentads.dev | shReach developers mid-flow →
~/project — claude

Demo: while the agent thinks, a single dim sponsored line appears at the bottom of the terminal; the moment the answer arrives, the ad is cleared.

How it works

01

Install

One command. Open-source client, explicit opt-in, no daemon surprises. Pause or uninstall any time.

curl -fsSL https://get.agentads.dev | sh

02

Wait

When your agent thinks for 8+ seconds, one dim sponsored line renders below the spinner. The moment output resumes, it's cleared in under 100ms.

03

Earn

Every viewable impression is priced by auction and split 70/30 in your favor, in a double-entry ledger you can inspect.

Privacy is the product

The client can only emit five signals — the schema is public, versioned, and enforced on both ends. A batch with any extra field is rejected whole, and the rejection raises a public audit alert.

Everything it knows — all five of it

  • idle_startwhen your agent starts thinking (timestamp)
  • idle_endwhen it stops (timestamp)
  • durationderived from the two above
  • anon_ida local random UUID — rotatable, no hardware ties
  • terminal_typea closed enum: claude-code, aider, cursor, …

Never collected. Not “anonymized” — absent.

  • prompts
  • code
  • agent responses
  • files or file names
  • project or repo names
  • environment variables
  • shell history
  • hostname / username
  • persisted IP
  • hardware identifiers
